Collections

Our guests do not have an easy way to view or purchase our multi-piece collections.

Since we offer a large selection of products, we give our guests the ability to purchase a multi-piece collection in our stores to help complete their room, a sofa, tables, ottomans, and more. That functionality did not exist on the website. Based on usability testing, it was highly requested.

01Product Information

We wanted to create a one-stop-shop for our collections, not just to purchase, but to learn about the individual pieces that make up each one. For organization, we used a grid of "tiles." With all the information available for each product, price, brand, reviews, return policy, shipping, warranty, descriptive text, what do you show without causing clutter? Usability testing answered that: guests wanted price, reviews, and a product description.

02Call to Action

As the guest scrolls down the page, the main call-to-action button ("Create Your Collection") disappeared. If they wanted to start a collection, they'd have to scroll back up to find it. Making the button stick once it leaves the viewport meant guests could start a collection from anywhere on the page.

03Multi-Select

Giving guests the ability to select multiple products was a large piece of this redesign. We landed on a "drawer" approach that keeps focus on the available products while letting guests select and deselect freely, then add selections to the cart in one step.
